The last few months have seen work on a nature documentary for Nat Geo HD on behalf on Cicada Productions, promo work for Situp TV, a handful of commercials including Rolo Biscuits for Nestle, The Chocolate Tasting Co and The Watch Hut.co.uk, as well as ongoing Sky Sports promo and inserts edits.

New Projects 2010
A busy start to the new year. The second series of Trawlers, Rigs and Rescue: North Sea gets a new look and a new title for it's channel relocation to Bravo later in February. I've been busy finishing all the in-show graphics for "Deadly North Sea" and am also onlining the series on Avid DS. I recently completed some commercial work for Space City Studios in Hammersmith, offlining and onlining a DRTV furniture ad. The commercials work continues with additional DS work on the new Argos ads following their recent re-branding.

Motion Graphics for Trawlers, Rigs and Rescue: North Sea - Series 2
My motion graphics identity - Alphabet Soup - will be designing and creating new in-show graphics for the second series of Virgin 1's highest-rating show - Trawlers, Rigs and Rescue: North Sea. This will include a new title sequence, map graphics, stings and other show branding elements. The majority of this work will be carried out on Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro.

The new football season kicks off soon and so the heat is on to create new and exciting promos for each event. Recent projects include: a 'Top Gear' inspired feature for Sky Sports football, 2 corporate films for Becta (onlined on DS) following events at a surburban London school and work on Argos's continuing summer catalogue ad campaign for Smoke and Mirrors.

High School Musical Party (Disney)
Offline edit completed for this short film for the Disney 365 channel looking behind the scenes at the High School Musical Party attraction at Disneyland Paris. Edited on Avid MC Adrenaline.

HSBC World Selection (HSBC)
Offline + online for this corporate web film that will feature on an HSBC microsite. Filmed and posted over 3 days, the film was shot on DigiBETA and delivered as various Quicktime encodes. The offline was completed on Avid Media Composer Adrenaline and finished on Avid DS.

Trawlers, Rigs and Rescue: North Sea (Virgin1)
I've just finished online editing an 8-part series for Virgin1 - Trawlers, Rigs and Rescue: North Sea. Shot on HDV and offlined on Final Cut, the online and grade was carried out on DS v10.1. The show, similar in feel to the likes of Trawlermen and Deadliest Catch, followed the lives of a variety of people working and living in the North Sea from rig-workers to RNLI lifeboatmen. The show was mastered onto HDCAM and downconverted to PAL for delivery.
